Metro West T’ai Chi Introductory Classes Winter - Spring 2021

Our introductory Wudang Tai Chi classes will start with a brief warm-up and stretching segment, then cover basic techniques and drills, breathing patterns, and a short, easily learned form. Future classes will delve deeper into this flowing and powerful style and incorporate learning sections of both the Wudang 13 Movement form and the Wudang 28 Movement form that can be practiced independently. 75 minute class.
Our introductory Daoist Qigong classes will include learning the basic opening pattern of the Daoist Daoyin Tuna Qigong set and the Wudang Mountain version of the Eight Pieces of Brocade (BaDuan Jin) set. Future classes will introduce more patterns from the Daoyin Tuna set as well as learning the Wudang HouGu Nourishing Qigong set and some stand alone elements from the Wudang Five Animals Qigong set (WuXing Gong). 60 minute class.
