Wudang Taiji Quan (also known as Wudang Tai Chi Chuan)

The forms and techniques of Wudang Taiji Quan incorporate movement with stillness. With this practice the internal and external movement work together to help build inner power and energy, develop the structural muscles, and increase balance, flexibility, and effortless movement. The forms and techniques are excellent for strengthening mind, body, and spirit, as well as teaching self-defense. Basic exercises, form practice, push hands and application of techniques are used to to teach students how to move with control, power, and fluidity. Entire body movement, infused with one’s qi (inner life force bio energy) increase one’s balance, power, health, vitality, and ability to deal with difficult physical or emotional situations.
